Therapy & Coaching for EUPD & Self-Harm

what to expect
  • For many people, receiving an EUPD diagnosis can be a double-edged sword of relief from gaining some understanding, but also represent a loss of support. I’m passionate about giving people with EUPD access to appropriate, meaningful, supportive care.
  • I am trained in and use specialist, evidence-based therapies for EUPD such as DBT and schema therapy
  • As someone who has previously struggled with self-harm, I know first-hand that it’s not ‘for attention’ – it’s a coping tool that serves a function, like to try to reduce unbearable emotion, to feel real, to punish, to communicate distress, or to regain a sense of control.
  • Understanding the psychological and interpersonal patterns maintaining your distress, and the function of self-harm, are key parts of therapy.
  • I use a harm-reduction approach in all my work with clients.
